Jaden Ouellette

Jaden Ouellette was adopted at the age of 5 months from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and has lived in Maine since. He started dancing at the age of 14 at The Dance Center in Auburn, ME. Jaden trained in multiple genres including ballet, modern, hip hop, and jazz. Jaden came to Portland School of Ballet’s 2022 Summer Intensive and decided to stay for the school year where he enjoyed performing in A Victorian Nutcracker and in Portland School of Ballet - Building Ballet Series. Since graduating high school, Jaden attended prestigious summer intensive programs at Boston Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet. Jaden started his professional career as a Trainee with Portland Ballet in 2023. As an Apprentice for Portland Ballet in 2024 – 2025, Jaden performed the Big Bad Wolf in The Sleeping Beauty. Jaden is excited to return to Portland Ballet as an Apprentice this season.
