Caroline Credle

Caroline Credle was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and began her dance training at the age of three at a local dance studio. In 2016, she auditioned and was accepted into the University of North Carolina School of the Arts’ high school program with a concentration in ballet. Upon graduation, Caroline decided to continue her education at UNCSA, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in May of 2022. While in school, her repertoire included roles in Sleeping Beauty, Ethan Stiefel’s The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, George Balanchine’s Concerto Barrocco, and Paquita, as well as featured roles in George Balanchine’s Symphonie Concertante, and the Swan Lake Pas de Trois. She received additional training through summer intensives at American Ballet Theatre, Sarasota Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and Carolina Ballet.

Caroline joined the Portland Ballet during their 2022/2023 season. In the company, she has performed roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy in A Victorian Nutcracker, a Vampire Bride in Nell Shipman’s Dracula and Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty. Caroline is looking forward to her fourth season with the Portland Ballet!
