Toni Marie Martin is a native of Vermont, where she began her training at the Vermont Ballet Theater School. She holds a BFA in ballet with a business minor from The University of Utah. She was a member of the department's company, Utah Ballet, where she performed in Swan Lake, Balanchine’s Serenade, and Coppelia.
By invitation, Toni traveled to Seoul, Korea taking part in Choreographers of the Far East, a contemporary series performance. Toni has attended dance programs at ABT Austin, Kaatsbaan, Boston Ballet, Ballet West, and Colorado Ballet. She was a member of Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company from 2014 -2017. While with Colorado Ballet, Toni performed in Swan Lake, La Sylphide, Serenade, Dracula, and The Nutcracker. She has also taught with the Colorado Ballet Academy. Toni is very excited to begin her second season as a company member and teacher at Portland Ballet.
