If 4 or fewer students are signed into a Drop-In class, a condensed class of 1 hour will be taught. Drop-In Cards are non refundable and have a 8 week expiration date.



– School Policies –

Tuition Policy: Portland School of Ballet commits itself in advance for faculty and services which are essential to its operation. Payment is due in full for all classes at the beginning of September, or can be paid in three installments due 9/1, 12/1 and 3/1. A $20.00 late fee will be assessed for all tuition payments not received by their due date. This policy will be strictly enforced. A written payment plan may be arranged through the office but prior approval is mandatory. All returned checks will be assessed a $20.00 processing fee. No student will be admitted to class with an outstanding balance.

Refund Policy: Absence or withdrawl from class is not refundable. All drop-in class cards are Non-Refundable and have an 8 week expiration date.

Attendance Policy: If later than 10 minutes, you may be asked to watch instead of participating in class. Permission to enter the class late is at your teacher's discretion. If you must leave class early, please inform your teacher prior to the start of class. Dancers must be picked up no later than 10 minutes after the end of class, or a $15 charge will be assessed for every 15 minutes that a teacher is required to wait. A courtesy phone call to the office for any absence is appreciated.

Health Policy: All dancers who participate in daily technique class at Portland School of Ballet are required to complete a health form which will be forwarded to you upon receipt of your registration. The Portland School of Ballet will continue its affiliation with Orthopaedic Associates of Portland to maintain the optimum health of its dancers. Please inform your teacher of any health issues, special needs or disabilities. In case of medical emergency 911 will be called.
