• PORTLAND SCHOOL OF BALLET SITE FOR NATIONAL AUDITIONS
January 6, 2012 (Friday): Interlochen Center for the Arts (MI) from 6:30-8:30PM
January 7, 2012 (Saturday): Boston Ballet (MA) from 12noon-2:30PM
February 5, 2012 (Sunday): Cincinnati Ballet (OH) from 2:00-4:00PM
February 18 (Saturday): The Nutmeg Ballet (CT) from 2:00-4:00PM

On January 6, 2012, Portland School of Ballet (PSB) will host the first in a series of national auditions being held at their studios at 517 Forest Avenue, Portland, Maine. With their prestigious intensive summer programs, these national schools and ballet companies from Michigan, Ohio, Connecticut and Massachusetts will return to PSB in Maine to audition students trained by Portland's dance professionals. "I am consistently impressed by the detailed training coming from PSB and am delighted when they excel in our programs" says Tim Melady, Ballet Master, Nutmeg Conservatory.

Portland School of Ballet will again hold their own Summer Workshop during the month of June and will feature Portland Ballet's resident guest artist Joseph Jefferies as the choreographer for the Workshop Performance.
