A holiday tradition with a little twist: The timeless tale of a young girl, her Nutcracker Prince, and the Mouse King, but with sets and characters inspired by Portland’s Victoria Mansion!

Music performed by Portland Ballet Orchestra

Fee: All seats $10

Ticket price is valid for both members/students and staff/faculty/chaperones. Reservations are made on a first come first serve basis. Seating is at 9:30am.

Building Ballets

Building Ballets

Date TBD — Spring, 2020 | 10:00-11:00am | Westbrook Performing Arts Center (map)

This innovative program mixes dance performance, lecture, and demonstration to educate kids and adults alike about everything that goes into a performing arts production. Presented by Artistic Director Nell Shipman and the dancers of the Portland School of Ballet, Building Ballets will walk the audience through the process of creating and performing a ballet. This will include choreography, set design, lighting, and more!


Fee: All seats $10
